About Us

Abela Productions was founded by Stephen Abela (who began filmmaking in Los Angeles) whose belief in quality and originality still shines through in all aspects of our work today.

Stephen has been all over the world and decided to settle in the United Kingdom as he believed it was the ideal location to pursue his artistry in all it's forms - whether it be the design of a website or the direction of a film.

Richard Dutton

Richard first started making films at a young age before obtaining a degree in Media Production at university. Before joining Abela Productions he wrote and produced two independent movies (broadcast on Sky Television in 2004). Richard has also worked on a number of corporate videos and played a central role in the production and development of a virtual reality indoor cycling program which has sold across the UK and the US.

In his spare time Richard can be found either reading inspiring books or running up and down the football pitch.
