From products to portraits photography is an essential
part of much of our business. Over the years we have used a variety of formats but now stick to the benefits of Canon's Digital Eos range. This has many advantages - a quicker turn round time and increased quality (compared to standard 35mm film). To compliment the basic photography we have a selection of backgrounds that can be used for portraiture or product photography (with the muslin being particularly popular).

Restoration
Slides, negatives and original photographs can be damaged over the years we have undertaken several restoration projects and are happy to either carry out work or advise on the best methods of preservation. Our own methods include a high quality scanning process of each individual picture followed by several stages of digital restoration. The finally restored photograph is then available to keep on CD or as a brand new hardcopy photograph to be displayed for many years to come.
Cine Conversion
One of the capabilities we have recently been developing at Abela Productions is the transfer of cine film onto video. Whether you have 8mm or 16mm cine film, we can digitize and restore your footage, neatly presenting it to you on DVD with interactive menus and ‘reel' selection. Instead of letting your home films of distant memories continue to collect dust and deteriorate, why not transfer it onto a digital medium so that not only can they be preserved forever, but they can also be viewed and shared on a much more accessible medium? Never again will you have to dig out your old projector and delicately thread your film strips through them, worrying if it is going to chew it up and ruin it forever. Your old films, which may in fact provide a valuable retrospective insight into days and eras gone by, can be accessed simply by putting a disc in a machine or through the click of a button.

£35 for the conversion of up to 3 reels + £15 authoring fee for the DVD (£5 for VHS)
Additional reels are charged at £5 each
Additional DVDs are charged at £7.50 each
